Happy Island Introduces Tours

When Happy Island developer Crowdstar launched the game’s archipelago view, the company promised that it was going to lead to new gameplay, and wasn’t just a prettier way for player’s to visualize their islands. Today that promise is beginning to come to fruition, in the form of Happy Island Tours.

To get started, players need to click the map in the upper right to access the archipelago view. From there, a yacht (or cruise ship) labeled “Charter Tour” can be clicked. Right now players can choose between a smaller Day Cruise, and a larger Ocean Voyage.

The Day Cruise requires 5 passengers, the Ocean Voyage 20. The passengers are actually your fellow Facebook friends. By posting a Facebook news feed item, players can encourage their friends to sign up for the cruise. Once the passenger requirement is met and the boat is full, the cruise is launched, and a reward is earned. The Day Cruise reward is the Arch de Salle, and the Ocean Voyage reward is a Water Wheel.

Players that can’t or don’t want to fill their tour with Facebook friends can also pay to have it automatically filled, essentially just paying a few FB$ to get the reward item.
