Restaurant City Adds Chinese New Year Items

It will be interesting to see how 2010 develops in regards to Facebook game developers adding themed items. Sometimes it already feels like they’re scraping the bottom of the barrel. A set of Valentine’s Day items makes some sense but… Groundhog Day? The Chinese New Year? Maybe after the 14th when V-Day is over all the big games will roll out Black History Month items.

OR… maybe Restaurant City is just going to have a hard time impressing me with new items, after their excellent pirate-themed items. No joke – those pirate items single-handedly got me playing the game on a daily basis again.

In any case, this week’s themed item set is for Chinese New Year. New items include a Tiger, a Cherry Blossom Tree, tables and chairs with chinese patterning, and matching wall and floor tiles. Our gallery of the additions:
