Petville added a brand-new feature, earlier today: the ability to change the scenery outside your pet’s window! Previously, this could sort-of be accomplished by buying new windows. Every Petville window purchased could display a different outdoor scene. This led to some weirdness however, where the frosted holiday window would be displaying a night scene, and a normal window right next to it would be displaying the normal neighborhood scene, for example.

These new sceneries replace the *entire* outdoor scene, essentially relocating your pet’s house to a new environment. The new options are Big City, Moonlit Meadow, Tropical Vacation, and Scenic Countryside. The Big City background is available for 20,000 coins, while the other three are for sale for pet cash.

I envision many many more background scenes being added in the coming weeks and months. It seems like a fairly obvious way to further add to every player’s individuality.
