New Treasure Madness Minigame and Maps

Another sizable Treasure Madness update was rolled out by developer zSlide earlier this morning. As usual, it contains numerous additions, upgrades, and bugfixes. Undoubtedly the biggest new addition is the brand-new minigame: Wooden Maze. zSlide has been hinting at it for a while, for those with a quick enough eye to catch the reference.

Wooden Maze is a new take on a classic game (same as all the Treasure Madness minigames). Players must get a marble from the starting line to the goal, navigating it around the wooden walls and holes in the floor. The board can be tilted up, down, left, or right. It starts off easy, but we’ll see how tough the mazes get at Master difficulty!

zSlide also added 9 new maps to the map shop. Two more Valentine maps, a fan-suggested Mysterious Series map (Footprint Island), and new Fruity and Golden Series maps. A few of the Fruity Maps are for sale for coins – 10,000GP, which is pretty steep. But still nice to not have to pay MU$ for everything. Footprint Island is a limited time map, only available until the end of the month. So don’t forget about it in your rush to complete the Valentine’s maps! Some of the maps are for very high-level players only, as well.

The Treasure Madness fan page also states there are 35 new treasures, but I’m too busy scrambling to complete the Valentine’s maps before they expire to go searching for them. If you uncover a new treasure set, snap a pic and leave it in the comments!

Lastly, zSlide announced that players will now earn 1 MU$ for every map they complete! For hardcore players that have already checked off many or most of the maps, they will earn 1 MU$ for every 5 maps already completed.

All this plus bugfixes to Chestris and Jewel Drop make this a nice day to be a Treasure Madness player!
