Cafe World developer Zynga introduced their first ‘Dish of the Month’ club recipe earlier tonight: Giant Dino Egg! The recipe is only available to players who have given their email address to Zynga. But with Facebook phasing out notifications, email is now one of the only ways Facebook game developers can stay in touch with their players. So giving up your email isn’t as shady as it might initially sound.

The Giant Dino Egg itself is in keeping with Cafe World’s recent Stone Age expansion, and packs stats worthy of its rarity. After a three day cook time, the dino egg produces 600 servings, and 18 profit per serving. For those that need a little math help, that works out to 10,800 profit!

Is it really right to be cooking and serving dinosaur eggs? Probably best not to over-think it. And of course, it’s certainly a better option than splicing the remaining DNA with frog DNA in order to bring dinosaurs back to life as part of some kind of theme park…
