Farmville Adds French Chateau Items
This week’s set of limited-edition Farmville items were added to the Farmville marketplace earlier this evening. Farmville developer Zynga decided to inject a little additional class and elegance into their hit Facebook farming title, and went with a French Chateau theme. Only five items were added, but if previous weeks are any indication, we can probably expect a few more to make their way online later in the week.
The new items are a Forest, a Lavender Knoll, a Provencal Pot, a Tall Hedge, and a Provencal Fence. The “Forest” is named somewhat inaccurately. It would best be described as a grove of pine trees. It costs 10 FV$, and the Lavender Knoll is 4 FV$. The other three items are all available for coins. All are available for for 28 more days.
I bought one of the tall hedges, as I have a large portion of my own farm fenced in with hedges. I was disappointed to see that it didn’t match up very well with my existing hedgerow. This new hedge is more rounded, while the other, older hedge is squared.

I myself was VERY disappointed in the large hedge.It does in deed not match anything and will not work as part of any fence, that I have yet to discover.HOWEVER that being said , I LOVE the fence, urns , and especially the lavender knoll . Simply beautiful!And the price is also good. Although it does cost Farm Dollars ,kudos for making it still accessible to ALL of us! Great job Zynga.
