Mafia Wars Begins Easter Crime Basket Event

Hot on the heels of its St. Patrick’s Day event, Mafia Wars developer Zynga is now celebrating Easter in their own unique way. The Easter Crime Basket event features a new collection, new themed jobs, and even gives players a chance to find “Thugs Bunny.”

Like other holiday events, three new missions have been added – one quick, one medium, and one lengthy. Swipe a Faberge Egg can be completed every 5 minutes, requires 30 energy, and provides a total of 60 EXP. Break Into a Chocolate Factory can be completed every 8 hours, requires 60 energy, and earns a total of 150 EXP. Hijack a Toy Delivery can be completed every 24 hours, requires 100 energy, and earns 300 EXP.

All three events contribute to the Easter job mastery, and give players a chance at winning the rare Easter item Thugs Bunny. The bigger the job, the more Mastery earned and the greater the odds of winning an item. Thugs Bunny provides 50 attack and 28 defense, and can also be purchased in the marketplace for 35 Reward Points.

A new Easter Crime Basket Collection was also added. It is made up of: Striped Egg, Polka Dot Egg, Checkered Egg, Plaid Egg, Paisley Egg, Last Year’s Egg, and Golden Egg. Some are available as gifts, some can be obtained via the Easter jobs above, and some can be found randomly from missions.
