PetVille Adds New Neighborhood Feature
PetVille developer Zynga has launched a significant new feature: neighborhoods! Although the feature is still in early testing, it has potential to significantly change how PetVille is played.
Players can now travel outside of their pet’s home, and view the neighborhood via an overhead view, similar to FarmVille or FrontierVille. Players can click where they want their pet to walk, and can also click to interact with various elements of the environment, including pulling weeds, cleaning recycle bins, and gathering fruit from fruit trees.
Every task consumes some energy, which refills over time. Players can receive missions from Rosie or other PetVille inhabitants, to help guide the efforts to clean up the neighborhood.
Players have a separate, new experience bar for tasks completed outside the home. Leveling up outdoors refills a player’s energy bar, and also unlocks access to new neighborhood features. A fishing pond, wishing well, school house, news stand, and Union Square are all listed as ‘Coming Soon.’

Hmmm… Maybe the feature hasn’t launched for everyone yet? Zynga rolls things out slowly to groups of people sometimes.
It’s funny that, of all the potential ways to describe it, “like Pet Society” wasn’t selected, despite it merely being a rehash of PS’s original neighborhood design.

I have yet to get my new petville neighborhood yet my husband got his several days ago? When will i get mine?
In the new neighbor of Petville there is only a few seconds of energy unless you buy food of which I do not have PV dollars. Is this going to continue that we must pay for energy or not be able to play?

i have an level 6 pet and i have a friend who is level 31 i got the neighborhood but my friend doesn’t does the level effect????
i dont have a neighborhood and im on level 49 but my sister has one and shes on level 6

So, what if I don’t WANT this new feature? Can I opt out?
I think you have to be a certain level to unlock the neighborhood. I am on level 59, but I got it on level 54 I believe.
Pretty sure you have to be at least level 50.
i need my neighborhood now my cuz has his and he is on level 4 and im on level 33 how do i get mine
You don’t have to be level 50 to get the neighborhood. My husband had it on level 10. I am level 24 and still don’t have it.
He just said he had it on level 1.

You don’t have to be level 50 for sure, my husband is level 28 and he’s had it for a while, I’m level 14 and haven’t gotten it yet.
When do we get our neighbor hood?

I have had a neighborhood since level 1, now i am on level 34, logged on to play and no neighborhood. It’s been a week now and still no neighborhood. I want my neighborhood back.
Not fair how my little sister got it & she on a lower level..Ive been waiting for a year..
